Role Summary:

As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with production to plan and execute incoming and production controls.

  • Manage relationships with customers or third party inspectors.

  • Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events

  • Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective corrective actions where appropriate to correct deficiencies and achieve agreed targets.

  • Manage customer site inspections.

  • Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify issues for management and stakeholders on the quality status of a process or product.

  • Raise awareness among the leadership community about opportunities that have been discovered or developed and how to take advantage of them.

  • Collaborate with the department or other departments in the company to clarify / resolve technical issues related to QC activities.

  • Provide all documents as per QAP to the customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or (Maintenance, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical) and 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, Pumps knowledge preferred.

  • Engineering experience, utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

  • Knowledge of ISO Standards;

  • Experience as an internal auditor;

  • Experience in one manufacturing environment and pumps, pump repair.

  • Experience in the quality control department.

  • Understanding of product / process flow

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • English

  • Previous leadership experience
