The department:

Flowserve B.V. location Roosendaal specializes in new valves sales, valve automation and service & repair for among others the oil and gas industry. Recently, Flowserve in Roosendaal has expanded its Service & Repair activities on control and isolation valves to better serve our customers. The Service & Repair department stands for guaranteeing optimal international customer service and due to increasing activities and growth within the department, we are looking for a Service Technician QRC

The position:

As a service technician in our dynamic working environment, you are able to overhaul control valves, isolation valves and actuators for domestic and foreign customers. You will support our further professionalization of the service and repair department and maintain a high level of customer commitment and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

· You are responsible for carefully disassembling, cleaning, inspecting and professionally repairing/overhauling control valves, butterfly valves, ball and plug valves and pneumatic/electric actuators.

· You are responsible for independent coordination and implementation of service and repair work and trouble shooting, including reporting and time sheets.

· The tasks are versatile, also because each type of valve involves a different method of working.

· You provide support and service activities for shutdowns and commissioning.

· You are responsible for managing your required equipment (Tools, PPE, etc.).

· You are able to test high-pressure fittings using various test equipment.

· You prepare a clear inspection/revision report to provide advice and substantiation of the work.

· You perform your work in our QRC in Roosendaal and are also willing to travel up to 30% of your time, especially in the Benelux region.

Your profile:

· You feel at home in a dynamic, commercial and technical working environment. You are enterprising, customer and service oriented and have good communication skills.

· You operate at least on MBO (Technology) level 4 or equivalent and have a few years of work experience in a similar position.

· A VCA diploma is an advantage.

· Knowledge of and experience with electric drives is an advantage.

· You have experience with control valves, valves and customers in this field.

· You are a team player, but also used to working independently.

· In addition, you are stress-resistant, accurate, flexible, customer-oriented and you think in terms of solutions.

· You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

· You are physically fit.

· You are willing to be immunized for international travel.
