Role summary:

For our Engineered to Order (ETO) area within Order Engineering, we are looking for a committed Process/Project Engineer (M/F/T) to strengthen our team at the Itzehoe location as soon as possible. As a Process/Project Engineer, you will assume overall technical responsibility and coordinate the engineering of vacuum- and compressor skids (Process Systems) customer sales orders and projects, primarily for the chemical and oil and gas markets.

Your tasks:

  • Design and specification of system components for vacuum and compressor skids and creation of inquiry documents for procurement, as well as technical clarification / offer review up to the point of ordering

  • Analyzing and summarizing specifications and creating engineering deliverables, as well as technical documents in accordance with guidelines, directives and customer requirements

  • Technical offer support for sales to achieve a clean order status of complex customer orders

  • Interface management for internal/external engineering, external service providers, project management, purchasing, sales, quality and production, as well as aftermarket and service

  • Planning, training and initiating the integration of internal

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable training

  • Several years of professional experience in project engineering, preferably in the chemical and/or oil and gas industry

  • Experience in dealing with national and international guidelines/directives in mechanical and skid engineering

  • Confident handling of customer specifications

  • Experienced in working with international and interdisciplinary teams

  • Experienced in handling of common MS Office applications and SAP

  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad

  • Confident written and spoken German and English skills
