The Sales Support Representative is key member of the EMA AM Commercial Operation team and will provide real-time support to Customers in the assigned Region for Flowserve spare parts quotation and order review and handover. The role will work closely aligned with End-User Sales teams, in order to keep a clear and effective commercial approach, and with Operations, to ensure consistent execution of Customer POs; he / she will act independently to execute the assigned tasks, with the objective to solidly sustain the spare part business development, ensuring to meet, and possibly exceed, the customer expectations.

The ideal candidate is an expert Customer Service / Commercial professional, who has matured a multiyear experience in similar positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as single point of contact for sales and customers about Pump Spare Parts Quotations within the specific area of responsibility

  • Responsible for spare parts quotation activity, after clarifying the incoming requests of quotations, from technical and commercial standpoint

  • Ensure a consistent commercial approach, in line with market expectations

  • Ensure the offers are issued on time, respecting and possibly anticipating the due date

  • Responsible for T&Cs, SAP, C&C review and approval and any other legal and compliance requirement

  • Review the PO originated by customers, ensuring full compliance to acceptable terms before transferring the PO to BU.

  • Be the Customers' interface for any request, update, communication relevant to PO execution; be the reference point for any change order request.

  • Ensure all new spare part opportunities are duly loaded in Flowforce and synchronized with Flowparts

  • Be accountable to follow up the open quotations; Visit customer in coordination with Sales Engineer if required, to duly support the negotiation process.

  • Proactively recommend upselling, eventually involving the technical team for alternatives or complementary products

  • Ensure that the forecast of any single opportunity is duly updated basing on feedback received from Sales Engineers and from direct calls to customers.

  • Monitor Customer satisfaction, taking adequate action to improve the Customer experience

Requirements:

  • Solid commercial drive

  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate with Customers, Sales and Operations

  • Ability to make things happen across different functions within the Operations / Platforms

  • Ability to prioritize and proactively complete tasks across Organizations;

  • International mind set

  • Excellent Speaking & writing in French and English

  • Commercial experience in a B2B environment

  • Deep knowledge of main IT application tools, proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel, Power Point)

Preferred skills / experience:

  • Commercial and/or Technical Bachelor’s degree is a plus

  • Availability to travel when required

  • Knowledge of centrifugal pumps and/or rotating equipment, material specifications, metallurgy, inventory control, estimating knowledge and a general understanding of the sales cycle is a plus
