I) Role Summary:
This role is a contact person and problem solving for technical issues regarding our liquid pump portfolio for different function teams, which acquires and maintains detailed knowledge of all aspects of the liquid pump portfolio in Refinery, Chemical and General industries, and will be in direct communication and contact with different BU’s engineering teams for technical issues, furthermore, this role need to work with cross regions and countries function teams. Meanwhile, this role is required to contribute to order acquisition and fulfillment for the Flowserve business and can be located at manufacturing site. This position is vital to ensure customer requests and orders processed to meet or exceed quality requirements and expectation.
II) Main Duties and responsibilities:

Investigates project/capital equipment proposals, develops justification, prepares requests for expenditure, acquires equipment, installs equipment, and ensures that justification goals are achieved.
Support proposal activities include conducting pre-engineering work, to determine technical scope, engineering labor, risk analysis and/or make product selection meet or exceed customer requirements.
Localize new products or key parts and serve as key contact person of all technical issues in terms of technical documents, production processes and customer service etc.
Review and clarify customer complete technical specification, and raise deviations and suggest modifications where required. Perform detailed layout and mechanical design including conducting routine engineering analysis, design calculation and simulation.
Prepare for on-time and high accuracy’s order documents and drawings, including customer submittal documents, supplier documents review and fabrication documents or drawings. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide rework or resubmittal documentation in agreed-upon cycles to obtain approvals.
Select components and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications, including mechanical seals, seal auxiliary systems, drivers and other specified components. And develop completed bill of materials and other technical documentation for all “build-to-order” and “configure-to-order” products as required to release order to procurement and production.
Root cause analysis and solution proposal for issues base on the consideration of safety, quality, productivity, cost and shipment on time.
Timely upload & update technical documents and drawings on specified documents system, manage own product and project documents in specified place without disclosing to any third party.
Continue to improve areas in engineering role as to reduce projects delivery lead time, standardization in engineering design and project cost saving.
Coordinate with internal and external parties on the product and order issues and provide the supports accordingly.
Being flexibility to learn and work on different industries’ pump products.
Take initiative for individual tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.
III) Requirements & Qualification:
Education:
- Bachelor or above Degree major in in electrical and mechatronics.
Language:
Written English: Excellent.
Spoken English: Excellent.
Knowledge,Skills&Abilities:
Good knowledge and experience in liquid pump products design and manufacture in Refinery, Chemical and General industries with 3+ years related working experience.
Good experience in pump, seal & system, motor, heat exchanger, valves, Instrumentation and etc. other buy-outs selection and application.
Good skills on Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design, usual office software and AutoCAD (2D or 3D Plot software).
Good collaborative interpersonal skills.
Good experience in MRP system like Oracle or SAP.
Excellent knowledge in manufacture, parts and components drawing design, BOM preparation.
Excellent skills on root cause analysis, pump performance review and judgement.
