Role Summary:
The OE System Engineer is responsible for the preparation of detail drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials, part code management based on API 682, API 614, ASME Section XIII Division 1, customer and Flowserve specifications; as well as performing calculations, material selection and providing technical support to internal and external customers, as well as providing on-site support to clarify technical and/or equipment performance questions .
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Daily support both Aftermarket (AM) and Order Engineering (OE) system requests(new design proposal , system spec. review , sizing and calculations ) forChina market ;
On time delivery the system order drawings & documentation for Order engineering &AM engineering (upgrade and change-out);
Support Suzhou operations on project OE system orders execution ,communications with System Project manager ,buyers & sub vendors on activities of fabrications , FAT andlocal sourcing validations ;
Onsite visit / Teams call for system trouble shoot inquiries ;
Review GTEC output and provide feedback on drawings and comments for improvement ;
Support Sales engineer & application engineer to attend Aux system tech clarification discussions / advise smart deviations with OEM customers /EPC at project stage and kick off meetings;
Support Suzhou initiatives of system component parts localization & cost savings .
- Understands and supports all Company objectives and performs duties delegated by management.
- Enforces safety rules by ensuring that tooling, fixtures, and process meet all applicable OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrates the ability and willingness to be a team player.
- Treats all customers and fellow employees with respect.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience in mechanical design (Pump or Mechanical seal ) , Automation, Instrumentation and Control, Materials, Fluids.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards (GB 150 /ASME) , engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Knowledge of Instrumentation & valves .
Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics , API Standard 682 /614 preferred & plus .
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to understand and interpret Mechanical & PI&D drawings.
Proficient in design software: AutoCAD 2D and 3D / Inventor.
Advanced English reading and written skills .
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or relevant field and 3 -5 years of relevant experience.
