Role Summary:

Reporting to Training Manager, we are seeking for candidate who possess technical and customer-facing skills to successfully deliver training programs within APAC to support Flowserve internal and external customers training needs. This role requires combination of flexibility, troubleshooting, creativity, leadership skills and drive. Being part of a highly visible team, the candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple teams within the organization. This candidate manages all metrics, desired course outcomes, evaluations and feedback, and establish processes and methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of Flowserve training program delivery.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Deliver instructor-led classroom training to internal, end-user customers and partners on a regular schedule at a Flowserve venue, assigned training center and/or customer’s venue within APAC region

  • Deliver and facilitate training courses and programs related to theory application, maintenance, troubleshooting of pumps, mechanical seals and mechanical sealing systems.

  • Deliver various combinations of classroom and hands-on instruction, instructor led or virtual.

  • Develop, enhance, maintain and provide creative ideas for technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.

  • Provide support with updating and development of the training curriculum based on the outcome of the knowledge and skills assessments and assist in the development of training materials and documents.

  • Work closely with materials management to define and agree upon program competence standards and recommended working processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective training.

  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external customers to determine training needs and to promote the best interests of Flowserve Corporation.

  • Continuously monitor progress and provide regular feedback to customer and Flowserve training group.

  • Be the go to subject matter expert for internal training needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 - 8 years experience gained within relevant industry

  • Must have a passion for teaching and working with people

  • Experience with classroom and/or eLearning instructional development and delivery

  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and public speaking skills with strong facilitation and influencing skills

  • Proficient with Power-point, Microsoft Office and eLearning applications

  • Able to multitask in managing multiple training projects and/or programs

  • Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric, able to work independently

  • Hands-on experience with rotating equipment will be an advantage

  • Experiences in technical subject matter content of rotating equipment / pump / mechanical seal will be added advantage

  • Willing to travel within APAC regions for business purposes (30-40% travelling will be required)
