Role Summary:

The major responsibility of this role is to troubleshoot, Setup, Calibrate and Commissioning of Flowserve instruments such as digital positioners, analog positioners, limit switches and electric actuators. The person needs to support shutdown and turn around servicing and overhauling of the valves as and when necessary.

Flowserve will be able to strengthen its service & repair capabilities and provide better support for our regional customers.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • ITE / Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation Control / Electrical Engineering.

  • 1-2 years of hands on experience in positioners, instruments

  • Good hands on experience in calibrating and troubleshooting of HART, Foundation Fieldbus, 4-20mA positioners will be advantage

  • Able to read and understand Instruction manuals and schematic drawings

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team with all the other colleagues

  • Customer orientated, proactive and positive attitude is required in dynamic and challenging environment

  • Able to travel overseas in short notice

  • Able to work OT as and when necessary to meet the schedule

  • Required to use Microsoft outlook, Word, Excel for communication and reporting purpose

  • Experience in other software such as Valve Link, NI Configurator, 375 communicator etc is an advantage

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Installation, setup, calibrate and run diagnostics tests for smart and traditional positioners, limit switches and electrical actuators

  • Onsite troubleshooting and commissioning for Flowserve Valves and instruments

  • Perform repair, troubleshoot and failure analysis for instruments and positioners

  • Support Shutdown/Turnaround and work as a team with planners and other team mates to meet customer’s required schedule

  • Record and submit reports of before and after servicing of valves, instruments, Etc.

  • Support new valve assembly as and when necessary

  • Submit time sheet and field service reports in timely manner for onsite jobs

  • Practice good housekeeping and adopt a safe work attitude

  • Comply to corporate and regulatory safety policies and requirements

  • Take on additional duties as and when assigned
