Role Summary:

Quality Inspector

Perform Incoming Inspection and parts in the process

Responsibilities & Requirements: Perform Receipt Inspection and parts in the process. Inspect products and raw materials, according to the work program, carrying out the material inspection on receipt, during the production process and on the release of the final product, examining, measuring, visually inspecting, making practical and destructive tests according to pre-established rules and procedures , aiming to reduce rework or scrap, in order to guarantee quality. Open non-compliance reports for all problems encountered. Carry out all dealings with non-conformities until closing with all provisions.

Issue certificates and reports of conformity, test and dimensional. Control the measuring instruments and equipment of the factory connected to the self-control of the machine operators, checking the status, forwarding for maintenance and ordering new instruments, when necessary, according to predetermined rules and procedures.

Prepare Databooks containing all quality documentation for the manufactured equipment. Monitor and present to customer inspectors in witnessed inspections, be aware of ASME and Petrobras standards. Issue documentation (PIT / Quality Plan / End - EVS / TH / LP) in response to customer comments (Technical documentation + Databooks). Manage and control the issuance of local content certificates.

Assist quality supervision in the management and monitoring of the ISO9001: 2018 quality system. Monitor the implementation of internal and external corrective and preventive actions, perform qualification and monitoring of suppliers, implement corrective actions for customer complaints. Use quality tools and statistical techniques to identify internal areas and suppliers that need improvement. Conduct internal audits in the processes.

Preferred Experience / Skills: Complete technical education in mechanics.

Metrology, office package, Internal Auditor.

Intermediate / Fluent English.

Good relationship, capacity for analysis and synthesis, organized, initiative, pro-activity, experience in the area.

Studying Engineering or Mechanical Technology.

Knowledge in 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing improvement processes.

Knowledge in three-dimensional measurement.
