Role Summary:

Keep documents, records and control spreadsheets organized and updated

Responsibilities & Requirements: Reporting to: Operational Supervisor

Receipt, conference, identification of products received;

Disassembly, pre-cleaning and inspection of products;

Identification/registration of damages and possible causes of failures and preparation of a descriptive technical report and Service Order;

Component recovery (Cleaning, machining, polishing in micro grinding, grinding, lapping and face polishing, when applicable);

Measurement of parts and assemblies using the appropriate measuring instruments;

Mounting of mechanical seals;

Assembly of DGS seal test adapters;

Definition and organization of test adapters;

Assembly and preparation of the test bench with their respective instruments for DGS seals;

Performance test, approval and issuance of the DGS mechanical seals test report;

Tightness test for wet seals;

Support in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of the DGS bench (Compressors, computers and bench accessories, valves, instrumentation, etc...)

Plans, applies, controls, updates and develops procedures related to DGS activities routines with the team in Germany.

External technical assistance onshore and offshore to clients.

Failure analysis and resolution suggestion in rotating equipment;

Activities to be performed on Wet Seals and Dry Gas Seals.

Leadership of the DCI team and department. Team performance evaluation, indicators management, work priorities, supplies and equipment maintenance.

Preferred Experience / Skills: EDUCATION

High School Completed

Technician in mechanics or related areas with active CFT

Fluent English

Computer knowledge


Extensive knowledge of measuring instruments

Interpretation of technical drawing for manufacturing and assembled sets

Extensive knowledge in instrumentation

Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, wet and dry mechanical seals

Knowledge in pumps, agitators, compressors, turbo machines and equipment where our products are applied.
