Extensive knowledge of standards and documents such as ASTM, API, AWS, AISI, ANSI, ASME ISO 9000, etc.
Knowledge and use of measuring equipment
Knowledge and interpretation of drawings, plans, standards and geometric tolerances.
Knowledge in Troubleshooting Method 8D ,5whys ,Fish bone etc.
Knowledge and experience in Non Destructive Testing PND (VI, PT, MT, RX) and radiographic imaging
Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsible for ensuring that the components manufactured in the manufacturing center comply 100% with the internal product specifications and also with the specifications requested by the customers.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements through the Quality Plan Technical support to the production department in all matters related to standards and acceptance criteria. Homologate acceptance criteria with internal and external suppliers, such as Visual Inspection MSS SP 55, hardness, AWS D1.1, ANSI B 31.3, Flowserve global standards, etc.
Generate reports of non-conforming material in a clear manner and provide feedback to the corresponding areas, in order to determine dispositions of this.
Keep dimensional reports, dossier, production orders, etc., in order to maintain the correct traceability of the quality of the products.
Ensure that adequate measuring instruments are available (both in process inspection and final inspection) to ensure product quality.
Ensure that the measuring instruments are correctly calibrated and according to the calibration schedule.
Issue analysis of non-conformities to determine preventive actions oriented to defect reduction or process improvement.
Read project specifications to implement the necessary quality controls.
Support audit program for underperforming suppliers. Lead root cause analysis to prevent Quality problems. Train plant personnel on Quality and Continuous Improvement topics (coordination with manufacturing and production areas). Meet CLP goals according to the KPIs set by the Corporate (COPQs, OTD, CARs, financial results).
Preferred Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree: Mechanical, mechatronics, industrial, metallurgical engineering or similar.4 years of verifiable experience in similar position or functions, Green Belt, Yellow Belt or similar certification (desirable).
Experience in standards and documents such as ASTM, API, AWS, AISI, ANSI, ASME ISO 9000, etc.,
Coordination of inspection and testing activities in the reception of materials, Quality Dossiers.
