Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be the business leader responsible for development and delivery of digital tools for employees, channel partners, and customers across the FCD organization. They will act as the subject matter expert for the systems utilized to store and disseminate information. They will act as the intermediary between Operations and IT teams for improvement requests and evaluation of new software packages. They will establish common processes and methodologies to ensure the effectiveness of system development, utilization, training and reporting. Responsibilities include gathering and refining business requirements, designing the user experience, conducting testing, implementing and communicating solutions, and providing end user support and training.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Understanding the requirements of technical resources and organizational needs

  • Able to translate business requirements into functional requirements that can be understood by a technical team

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows

  • Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups

  • Experience working with enterprise tools such as ERP, PLM, CRM or BPM

  • Track record with leveraging technology tools to improve organizational efficiency and information communication

  • Ability to innovate on the development of digital resources

  • Knowledge of digital tools: PLM, PTC Windchill, PowerBI, SharePoint, Teams, SAP, Oracle

  • Knowledge of Valve design and operation a plus

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Item Governance schema activities

  • Knowledge of Engineering practices and standards a plus

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Lead deployment, delivery, and execution of digital tool solutions to meet the needs of FCD strategic initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Develop process maps and key business requirements areas for FCD workflows

  • Deliver continuous system enhancements, reporting, and analytic capabilities to drive growth and efficiency

  • Manage training documentation and lead structured training plans for the FCD organization on digital tools solutions

  • Actively identify continuous improvement opportunities for digital tools and solution application

  • Act as a subject matter expert for translating Flowserve Information Technology organization capabilities and business process needs into actionable projects

  • Continuously monitor progress and effectiveness of digital platforms and provide regular feedback to management and other internal departments and functions

  • Work closely with management to define and agree on tool effectiveness, updates and improvements as required
