Role Summary:
As a QA Engineer Staff, you will support in the development, implementation and running of Quality Control programs and procedures in the QRC / COE Queretaro México. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Implementation and monitoring of quality management systems, in accordance with the standards: ISO 9001:2015 / ISO:45001:2018
Coordinate a program of random inspections to evaluate the quality of the processes.
Coordinate analysis to determine preventive actions to reduce defects or improve processes.
Issuance of reports/metrics of different indicators of the QRC´s
Lead interdepartmental groups Solving Problems related to KPI indicators
Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks
Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors
Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
Keep the Quality Quest updated with all the information of NCRs and ensure the correct closing of the report.
Administration of the document system for the preparation of the dossier.
Generate the inspection plan to ensure the quality of the parts/equipment that arrive/leave the Site.
Generate photographic release reports of equipment in final assembly.
Validate the quality of the information in the documents delivered by the production department.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CI) events
Manage customer witness inspections
Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality
Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them
Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to QC activities.
Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries.

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
Solid knowledge in manufacturing processes
Experience of 2 to 4 years in manufacturing processes in metal mechanics industry.
Knowledge of standards (ASME, ISO 9001, ISO:45001, ISO:14001, ASTM, API)
Experience with development and implementation of PFMEA & Control
Work Team Management Experience in problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC, 3x5Whys, Fishbone, C&E).
Experience in Measurement equipment use
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
English Advanced
