Role Summary:

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this position will cover the full sets of accounts and accounting reporting function. The role undertakes a range of responsibilities across Finance, like:

  • Ownership and responsibility for accuracy and integrity of financial record

  • Design of control environment and ownership of all controls

  • Responsibility to streamline, simplify and standardize processes and procedures

  • Ownership of statutory reporting and Tax filing

Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities :

  • Complete SOX documentation including annual update of SIPOC and SOX Portal

  • Act as Business Advisor to functional leaders in SOX matters

  • Coordinate activities with internal and external auditors, and other external constituents (tax, regulatory, etc)

  • Ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete, and submitted in accordance with US GAAP and Flowserve's policies and timeframes

  • To work with teams across the organization to map and analyse current processes

  • Determine areas for improvement and design new processes or improving existing practices

  • Contract review to identify transaction price, variable consideration, revenue recognition (PIT of POC)

  • Manage coordination with Shared Services.

  • Provide support and guidance to team when needed

  • Support month-end and year-end close process

  • Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. Requirements :

  • At least 4 years relevant working experience ideally in manufacturing or Engineering organization.

  • Part or fully qualified Accountant (ACMA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of US GAAP, Internal Controls and SOX compliance

  • Must have experience working with corporate reporting systems, such as Hyperion, SAP or Oracle. Experience with BPC reporting tool is good to have

  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time if required
