Role Summary :

Flowserve Corporation is a public, multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. The products of the company include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. AS Health, Safety and Environment Intern you are going to you will support the RSPP in the following activities: Improving operational activities ensuring compliance with the regulations stated by Italian government; Following and collaborating in activities to achieve compliance with regulations; Support in identification of risk factors, risk assessment and identification of measures for the safety and healthiness of the workplace, in compliance with current legislation on the basis of the company organization; developing the preventive and protective measures referred to in Article 28, paragraph 2, and the control systems of these measures; Developing H&S procedures for various business activities; Proposing information and training programs for workers; Participating in consultations on the protection of health and safety at work, as well as in the periodic meeting referred to in Article 35; Providing workers with the information referred to in Article 36; Supporting activities in the management of HSE suppliers (qualifications, contracts, etc.); Carrying on Corporate activities (GSA, Safety Maturity, various Safety weeks); HSE alignment activities with Quality for QHSE system construction.

Your Role :

• Interfacing with heterogeneous staff and communicating effectively in order to ensure the involvement and participation of parties;

• Overcoming resistance to change;

• Ensuring an effective approach in problem management, basing analysis and actions on objective elements, facing the possible pressures of different processes;

• Collaborating in the choice of work equipment, chemical agents, as well as the arrangement of workplaces;

• Supporting in maintenance activities;

• Supporting the coordination of first aid, infirmary management and fire prevention activities;

• Assessing the repetitiveness of injuries in order to apply appropriate corrective actions;

• Performing periodic checks on compliance with safety standards;

• Maintaining Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) and Safety (45001:2018);

• Support in Waste management.

Your Profile :

• Degree in one of the following areas:

• Civil and Environmental Engineering

• Energetic engineering

• Mechanical engineering

• Automation engineering

• Engineering of Prevention and Safety in the Process Industry

• Industrial Production Engineering

• Conflict management skills

• Proactivity and ability to relate to all hierarchical levels

• IT skills and excellent knowledge of the office package

• Fluency in Italian and English.
