Role Summary:

Design Engineering involves the design and development of Trunnion mounted Ball Valves (Top Entry, Side Entry) by keeping focus on product performances, cost, quality, reliability, serviceability and customized user features. Addressing these product characteristics may include design, development and transitioning to manufacturing.

Preferred Experience / Skills: What do you need for this job:

  • Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent

  • Proven experience in design and development of API6D,API6A trunnion mounter ball valves

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong proficiency in engineering & design software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)

  • Solid understanding of different type of API6D/API6A valves and their optional configurations

  • Able to effectively self-manage; makes decisions around priorities

  • Capable of working closely with internal and external customers and having good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good standard of written & spoken English; strong PC skills;

  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or generic Lean Experience is an advantage

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • You have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills

  • You have keen attention to detail

  • You are flexible and able to cope with process changes

  • You have 5+ year of experience from the sector

Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities & Requirements

You'll be involved in the following tasks:

  • Manage design projects involving complex designs, including technical issues and specific requirement

  • Develop and implement engineering standards and work procedures, documents

  • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple produt lines

  • Reveiw design analyses using calculations, FEA’s, & other design verification methods and report the results

  • Lead cooperation with the Global Engineering technology center in India

  • Provide support to sales, tech services, service centers & customers

  • Work with other Design Engineers to direct the investigation and resolution of shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues

  • Identify and implement new/improved design standard and procedural documents
