GENERAL SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineering Co-op/Intern will function as a member of the Product Engineering department and will support, maintain, and develop Flowserve electrical and electronic products currently in production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Electrical Engineers in electronics design and development including analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, functional validation and verification testing.
Maintain BOMs for electronic circuit boards currently in production. This includes resolving parts obsolescence, component analysis, component testing, and finding cost reductions.
Ensure the quality and integrity of all products and components through thorough design validation and strict adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
Thoroughly document projects, designs, test procedures, test results, etc.
Ensure that projects are executed to achieve cost and time goals.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. or M.E. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Works under immediate supervision.
Must be U.S. citizen, NOFORN required.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Team leading experience
Knowledge of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)
Familiarity with circuit simulation tools – Ltspice or similar.
PCB schematic capture and layout skills – Altium Designer preferred.
