Position Summary:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers on field issues, warranty claims and resolutions. You will perform and support commissioning, service and repair work at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
Order processing and acceptance.
Prepare cost estimates less discounts in accordance with specifications.
Schedule orders
Prepare quotations for standard products according to predefined lists
Read and evaluate customer specifications and customer requirements documents
Compile technical and commercial quotation documents
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers
Support customers during site visits
Handle customer complaints
Research, develop and implement technical solutions to special problems.
Coordinate effectively with internal and external customers.
Establish a safe and adequate work area and comply with all safety requirements
Perform repairs and service activities on-site and in-house
Provide technical support and training as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Mechanical Technician or Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering or degree in relevant field and with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organized and efficient
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word
SAP knowledge in SD;MM;PP
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience serving clients in the oil and gas, energy, chemical, water and other general industries.
Ability to change priorities on a daily basis while still producing results.
Preferred skills:
- Advanced English
