Flowserve in Itzehoe is looking to the hire a Design Engineer (m/f/t) who will be responsible for the construction of customer-specific systems in engineering.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities & Requirements
Construction of the customer-specific systems in ETO Order Engineering including guidance and checking of GTEC resources during execution with regard to 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation, BOM creation and material creation in SAP
Calculations as far as necessary or required, e.g. pipe stress analyzes, structural calculations FEM, etc.
Ensuring conformity to applicable directives and standards, e.g. Machinery Directive, ATEX Directive, Pressure Equipment Directive, or equivalent for the Asian or North American area
Carrying out risk analyzes for the designed systems
Creation of documentation for the constructed systems (operating instructions and service instructions)
Offer support to achieve a clear order status, e.g. review of customer specifications, selection and use of components, technical scope and detailing of the offer
Specification of system components (valves, instruments, pipes, etc.) in consultation with suppliers and customers
Checking of the P&I flowchart as well as instructions for the creation by GTEC
Interface management to internal engineering, external service providers, project management, purchasing, quality and production
Elaboration and detailing of the ITP and the Project Data Book (PDB) in the course of the project
Support in quality and guarantee issues as well as responsible management and implementation of root cause analysis
Ensuring and supporting the efficient use of GTEC resources through training
Preferred Experience / Skills: Preferred Experience / Skills
- A completed university education in the field of process engineering or mechanical engineering is required or the knowledge and skills were acquired in another way.
- Several years of professional experience (preferably in plant engineering) are required.
Other knowledge and experience:
Confident knowledge of English, MS Office, 3D CAD design, dealing with standards DIN-ISO ..., API-681 or customer standards (e.g. Shell-Dep), ERP systems - preferably SAP-R3, Smap-3D
If necessary, this knowledge can be expanded or acquired at Flowserve.
