The University Program Specialist will help evolve and improve our existing rotational development program, ensuring the design fully aligns with desired outcomes to infuse our talent pipeline with future operational leaders and subsequently introduce program enhancements and/or expansions to serve talent needs throughout the organization. Working collaboratively with the team lead, HRBPs, and functional and platform leaders at various levels, the program manager will simultaneously run and transform a winning program to create exceptional development opportunities and leadership experiences for participants. Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities
Execute ongoing operations of the existing program, in partnership with local HRBPs and leaders to maintain and improve engagement of program participants and ensure actions are consistent with Flowserve values and behaviors and future program objectives
Implement identified program improvement opportunities and build upon those improvements with continued transformation strategies
Design a robust and sustainable development approach to accelerate participants’ learning and growth toward readiness for future operational leadership
Direct participant rotational experiences intentionally to deliver a robust and wide range of experiences with the appropriate depth and exposure derived from each rotation
Engage operational and functional leaders to support the development of participants with presentations, engagements, and meaningful assignments
Develop a branding strategy to create internal awareness and interest in the program and its participants, including program metrics
Partner with leadership to strategize a campus approach that enhances the Flowserve brand and leads us to attract the best talent for Flowserve each year
Partner to develop and implement a strategy to wrap the development program with a full university recruiting and development program, complete with on campus, internship, and on boarding strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent across multiple functions at Flowserve in the future
Manage the program budget effectively
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 3- 5 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist
Prior experience designing and managing a development program
Proven track record of process and program transformation
Understanding of development programs with the ability to put theory into action
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Passion for continuous improvement and driving sustainable change
Leadership and/or learning management program design or project supportin international or global enterprise
Strategic thinker and an organized, agile implementer
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Prior experience with University Recruiting and/or Development programs
