Role Summary: Define, implement, manage, and monitor global HR communications strategy and execution serving Flowserve’s more than 17,000 associates across 50+ countries. The HR Communications Manager serves as a trusted business partner to the global HR function as a member of the Global Communications team.


  • Develop and execute a broad range of comprehensive communications strategies, plans, and points of view that support Human Resources (HR) objectives, reaching targeted audiences across a wide range of channels

  • As a key member of the HR Leadership Team (reporting into the VP of Communications & Public Affairs), provide strategic counsel on positioning and development/delivery of key HR messages

  • Manage an overall rebrand of the Global HR function in close collaboration with the HR Leadership and Global Communications teams

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with compelling digital content (web + social media) to attract qualified talent at all levels of the organization

  • Foster and help drive culture change across the organization, while continuing to pursue and build upon Flowserve’s numerous recognitions as a great place to work

  • Collaborate with all functions and areas of the organization as it relates to developing and editing audience-specific HR messaging content

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Education:

  • At least seven years of experience in public relations, with at least 3 years in employee, HR and/or benefits-related communications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Global experience in an industry covering multiple job levels (manufacturing associates to corporate management) is a plus
