Role Summary
Flowserve is looking for a Repair Technician who wants to join our Onsite team at DOW Terneuzen.
We are looking for a colleague who enjoy working with their hands and ensure high satisfaction with our customers. As a Repair Technician you work on pump upgrades and overhauls for many different systems. You do this with advanced tools and materials that make it possible to work on our complex products at a high level. Your Role
As a Repair Technician you are involved from the start of the process, you disassemble the pump and then clean it for inspection
Once all parts are clean, you'll perform a inspection and detail the findings in an inspection report. You record the dimensions according to measurement protocols.
After our customer has agreed to carry out the offered repairs and we have received all new parts, you start assembling the pump.
You assemble the pump according to the drawing and instructions, which are made available according to the work package associated with your project.
If required, perform a performance test.
Your Profile
You have a diploma at MBO level or comparable work experience.
at least 3 years of work experience in a comparable position as a mechanic, where work experience with pumps, motors or rotating equipment fits in very well.
You speak Dutch and English well.
A Repair Technician can read and understand technical working drawings and work instructions, such as documents, safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Documenting your work in a concise report in the PC.
You also have a keen eye for detail and look critically at your work.
