At Flowserve in Hulst you will machine excellent products! What you can expect is to deliver high quality, produce small series of an average of 2 in stainless steel and sometimes work with exotic materials. You are a serious professional and you feel just as comfortable behind a conventional machine as a CNC machine.
During your shift you are busy setting up and adjusting your machine and producing and measuring your products. You use and interpret precision measuring equipment/instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and depth gauges to check your work. You will produce a large numbers of different precision parts for pumps. Our team delivers nearly 1500 repaired or upgraded pumps a year. Among those are standard pumps but also quite a few special application pumps that have been designed for special applications such as oxygen pumps or pumps for moving extremely hot liquid or chemical compounds. For you this means that you will have a lot of variation between the pieces you will turn, mill and drill.

Conventional and/or CNC turning and milling
Work independently, but you help colleagues where necessary
Use precision measuring equipment
Process products accurately and always pay attention to your safety and that of others
Carrying out first-line maintenance

Working safely and accurately is your priority. You enjoy working on small series. Larger series runs are not your favourite, but from time to time you have no problem with this. Working with colleagues in a team is fine, but independently creating your own products is what you like most. You also meet the following requirement:
You have experience with conventional and/or CNC turning and milling
You speak Dutch (and English)
You have knowledge of metal properties
Able to read and interpret drawings (and geometric tolerances) (also in inches)
