Flowserve is looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter to take on the following duties:
To lay out, fit and assemble piping and component parts
Package systems according to Engineering specifications
Weld according to procedures on carbon steel, stainless steel using various welding processes (SMAW, MIG & TIG)
Measure, cut, thread and prepare pipes to assemble systems within dimensional tolerances specified on engineering drawings
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and piping schematics or assembly of component parts to manufacturers specifications; work orders, bills of materials or welding process specifications
Operates manual, semi-automatic welding equipment
Sets up and operates various metal working machines including cutting torch, drill press grinders, drills, cut-off saw, pipe threader to bend, cut, form, drill or otherwise form metal components
Assists with conducting function and performance tests on systems when required
Mount and align pumps and motors using micrometer, straight edge and laser alignment methods
May perform pneumatic and hydrostatic test on systems upon completion

Ticketed Welder/Fitter (Pipe Welding/Fitter Tickets)
Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and electrical line diagrams
Welding, pipefitting, pipe welding and electrical wiring skills
3+ years’ of experience welding tickets in all position for applicable standards, codes and specs
Good interpersonal & communication skills; team player
Work with general supervision
Working safely a priority
