Flowserve is looking for an experienced Order Entry Specialist to ensure orders/data is entered from each customer or salesperson accurately and input into Guelph’s ERP system.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities
Process New Orders in a timely and accurate fashion ensuring customer PO accuracy and coordinate corrections where needed.
Coordinate with other departments as needed for credit approvals, deliveries, etc.
Process any changes to orders as needed and relay to other departments (i.e.: Production, Procurement, Credit, as applicable)
Review orders processed on the Flowserve Webstore to ensure accurate and applicable documentation is received from customers.
Work with Logistics Coordinator to obtain any routing instructions needed at time of shipment for all orders.
Order Expediting – follow up on late deliver orders with procurement/production teams, obtain new deliveries and communicate changes with customers as needed.
Focus on improving customer experience and on-time delivery.
Returns/Credits – Process orders and coordinate returns for products as needed with customers.
Follow all incoming production safety regulations and protocols.
Issue necessary credits upon return of items.
Process any miscellaneous credits as needed (order corrections, taxes, etc.)
Process warranty orders as needed, coordinating through the Quality team.
Assist or back up for Engineered Systems Coordinator – process system orders, maintain reports, update engineered system files, coordination of all documents with the appropriate Project Manager.
Processing of ECM, printing of drawings, creation and printing of work orders
Process invoices as needed.
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years related work experience
Well-spoken with strong written and communication skills.
Good organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with minimum supervision
Ability to work in fast pace, high-energy team, goal orientated environment.
Must be able to deal diplomatically with customers and project a positive corporate image.
Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Oracle application, and other various web based applications.
Strong listening, communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment keeping a balance between accuracy and managing high volumes.
Detail oriented, and very thorough with data entry.
Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience of working within a busy customer service/order management department, helping to achieve excellent time management, efficient prioritization and delivering on all KPS’s is essential
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Bachelors or Associates Degree
SAP knowledge a plus or experience in equivalent ERP systems
