Role Summary:

The Guelph, Ontario facility was previously SIHI Pumps that was acquired by Flowserve in 2015. FLS Guelph facility is an OE vacuum pump manufacturing facility. It has the ability to engineer, design, manufacture, assemble and test liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors. This facility primarily supports the NAM region for both OE pump sales and AM parts.

Currently seeking a Material Handler, able to work in a fast pace environment including high pressure and time constrained situations with attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Requirements:


  • Collect bins containing Kan Ban cards and small tools; replenish and return to work center ·

  • Prepare and receive sub-contract orders

  • Pull stock, issue to work orders and deliver to machine centers

  • Identify count and receive incoming materials

  • Label, locate and consolidate material receipts

  • Monitor the integrity of storage bins and replace when needed

  • Generate cycle count documents based on Flowserve (ABCD) requirements

  • Enter, reconcile, and post cycle counts and verify all documents when processed

  • Identify, label, and consolidate any problem areas while counting

  • Assist receiving when feasible

  • Comply with all company policies & procedures, health & safety policies and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations

  • Additional related duties as defined by lead, supervisor or manager


  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • Secondary School Graduation diploma

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Previous tow motor or forklift experience

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Lean manufacturing background preferred

  • Previous experience working with SAP

  • Crane experience an asset
