Role Summary:

In this position you will be responsible for the material availability and capacity planning in the Pump seal manufacturing facility in Etten-Leur, The Netherlands as well as for our manufacturing facility in Olomouc, Czech Republic. With these facilities we support our customers and QRCs in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA). You will report to the Manager Planning for seal manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  1. Map manufacturing demand and capacity in EMA. Keep track of gaps that appear and do anything required to close them. Balance the demand and available capacity between Etten-Leur, Olomouc, other Flowserve manufacturing facilities and external suppliers.

  2. Correct requisitioning of buy parts and raw materials.

  3. Ensure correct execution of planning processes for seals and systems in Etten-Leur, including exceptions handling, all within the ERP system SAP S4 Hana.

  4. Control the Etten-Leur inventory value and stock availability.

  5. Support and champion improvement projects based on the Lean Six Sigma principle, mainly focused on improving the supply chain.

  6. Be a key-user within the SAP PTM processes.

Objectives will be focused on on-time-delivery, minimize lateness on customer orders and promised delivery dates. Furthermore, as a Supply Chain Planner you will play a key role in further improving planning related processes, procedures, systems, and ensure implementation of improvements.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  1. At minimum a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Logistics or Supply chain management);

  2. Good Dutch and English verbal and written communication skills.

  3. Knowledge and experience with ERP systems and different planning methods (MRP, ASCP, KanBan), preferably in SAP.

  4. Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

  5. Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel preferable.

  6. Team-player, with well-developed interpersonal and social skills.

  7. Pro-active in resolving supply chain related challenges.

  8. Strong analytical and accurate data processing, experience with Python or PowerBi is a plus.
