Role Summary:

Within the Traffic department we are looking for a colleague for 40 hours per week.

You are an important link in the logistics process. All administrative activities required for the transport of Flowserve products are part of your daily work. You will work in a team of 7 colleagues within the Traffic Team of the Flowserve Campus in Etten-Leur.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

You will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Correctly, accurately and on time organization and processing of Flowserve products’ transport to customers worldwide.

  • Orientation on nature, size, possibilities, available time and costs of transports, in consultation with planning, engineering, forwarding, as well as with end user/customer, carriers, shipping agents, and customs.

  • Execution of the administrative process in the ERP system, including all necessary certificates, transport documents, and according to customer specifications.

  • Checking the already present documents, such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, etc. for correctness and completeness.

  • Coordinating (national and international) transports, both inbound and outbound.

  • Requesting transport prices and delivery times, negotiating and placing transport orders.

  • Maintaining contacts with transport companies, shipping and aviation agencies regarding possibilities and conditions, such as times and rates of transports.

  • Determining shipping instructions and providing them to packers, carriers and shipping agents and ensuring compliance and implementation.

  • Taking care of all administrative activities and documents, such as customs clearance, certificates of origin, shipping invoices, documents for preferential traffic, export licenses.

You are the ideal colleague if you have:

  • MBO/MBO + work- and thinking level

  • Knowledge of transport (road, air and sea transport)

  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language orally and in writing.

  • Team player

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position

  • Good communication and contact skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • You speak and understand "the language of logistics" and feel comfortable in a dynamic work environment.

  • You are accurate, flexible, independent, stress resistant, structured and hands'on.

  • Preferably knowledge of export documents
