Role summary:
For our Essen site, which specializes in the development, production and global sales of the Kämmer valves, we are looking for a Welder (M/F/T) at the earliest possible star date. In this position you will be responsible for the manual and tack welding of workpieces (root, filler and cover layers according to specifications).
Your tasks:
Check workpieces on the worklist for completeness, batch consistency and correct material specifications using work documents/drawings
Select the welding equipment and additional welding materials according to the drawing/welding specifications
Check for the impact of thermal treatment
Smooth out tack welds
Clean the equipment according to maintenance specifications
Operate automatic welding machines and weld special materials (Ultimet, Hasteloy, Nickel, Monel, etc.)
Weld X-ray safe weld seams
Sterilize guides and seat edges
Your profile:
Successfully completed 3-year vocational training as a welder or construction mechanic
At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
The following welding qualifications are an advantage: DIN EN ISO 9606-1 in welding process 141 (TIG), for butt weld seams in additional weld groups FM1 - FM3 and FM5 - FM6, DIN EN ISO 9606-4 in welding process 141 (TIG), for butt weld seams in material groups W41 - W47
Fluency in written and spoken German
Good communication skills, attention to quality, ability to work in a team, flexibility and stress-resistance
