Role Summary:

As part of the site leadership team, the Finance Business Partner works actively with the Director GM Operations and the site leadership team in driving the Dortmund Aftermarket business in terms of productivity, efficiency, utilization and growth in order to support the organization to achieve its goals.
As Business Partner, you will use data as strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning and forecasting, and productivity and efficiency analysis.
Responsibilities & Requirements: You'll be involved in the following tasks:
Provide proactive business and financial analysis, identify important trends and perform detailed variance analysis to assist the operations in achieving its objectives. Make recommendations for potential improvements and promote the active use of financial data to drive business success and identify potential risks and opportunities
Provide forward looking insights and value-added analysis to leadership regarding profitability, competitive landscape, products, etc.
Drive Financial performance management, to include the strategic planning process, annual budgeting and communication of results. Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly forecasts for the business, ensuring that they accurately reflect the business and that any gaps are identified early, and appropriate actions are taken to improve operational performance.
Lead processes and initiatives to reduce primary working capital and maximize operating cash flow
Meet all reporting deadlines with comprehensive, accurate, complete and responsive data
What you need for this job:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in financial accounting, a Finance master’s degree or professional education are a plus
Minimum 5-10 years finance & accounting experience in an international business environment
Experience in a relevant field: at least 3 years in a similar context with comparable questions, e.g. in strategic, process or finance controlling.
Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirement
Language skills: Native German and fluent in English is a must

Able to stay easy on top of things, even in a very dynamic environment with fast-paced changes
Ability to capture, simplify and network complex relationships
Able to multi-task in high pressure, time-constrained situation
