Role Summary:

As an Accountant, you have ownership and responsibility on the ongoing and future transitions in Payment area. You support the projects and processes, keep the contact with finance, IT teams. You make job shadows (US & Europe) and document the processes that will be moved to Hungary, following up and coordinating them and design standardized best in class processes to implement these across the functional teams.

Responsibilities & Requirements: You'll be involved in the following tasks:

  • Responsible for working with Information Technology (IT) to assure adequate support necessary to successfully transition requested financial processes to FLS shared service centers.

  • Manages escalations during the transition period and engages managers and leaders as necessary

  • Supports both change management and communication protocol as defined by the BSC Optimization Team change management lead.

  • Coordinate the training approach, curriculum and scheduling of the sending team to enable the new hires to become productive in a short time frame.

  • Work with the business and Shared Service teams to assess change readiness and project risk related to the transition.

  • Assist in process mapping workshops and process improvement activities.

  • Acquire a deep understanding of the systems and processes transferred into the shared service center.

  • Train and develop Super-users inside the shared service center.

  • This role will transform into a process improvement role overtime.

  • Minimum 25% travel required.

What do you need for this job:

  • 2+ years’ experience in finance.

  • Strong technical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and comfortable working in multiple ERP systems

  • Strong continuous improvement mentality while continually striving to encourage this same behaviour in all shared service employees

  • Familiarity with agile project management approaches, tools and phases of project lifecycle

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in English; excellent listening skills; flexibility is key

  • Have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills;

  • Have keen attention to detail;

  • Are flexible and able to cope with process changes.
