The Primary mission of the Analyst in Operational Excellence Team is to help run Flowserve ERP & systems programs in our AMSS sites.

This person will map and document the evolving needs of the different business models. Subsequently will Implement, document and test the different systems needed. Work with customer to ensure information is targeted and enables decision making. Evaluate and analyze data to solve user information needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Documentation of processes in ERP. Gather and document the requirements of the processes that govern our different Operating Models supporting the different Teams to understand the needs and scope of our systems.

  • ERP Implementation. Manage implementation projects, documentation and testing of ERP and associated systems.

  • Troubleshooting. Continually work with users to assist them through training and identification of problems and needs to make the systems more efficient.

  • Coordinate and facilitate training of ERP and other corporate systems for AMSS employees. Define training courses and schedules with special emphasis on onboarding processes when required.

  • Operational and financial metrics. Support QRC's in the measurement of KPI's and coordination with sub-regional operations leaders. Procure best practices, audits and improvement actions.

  • Lead and operate under Flowserve's values, and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  1. Technical skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Economics or any other related degree.

  • ERP (SAP) implementation and process definition in operational and/or financial areas, in manufacturing companies. Experience in design and documentation of ERP workflows and other auxiliary systems.

  • Fluent in English. Other languages would be an asset.

  • Certified Lean Practitioner as a minimum. Other Six Sigma (Black Belt) training is also an asset.

  • Experience in Microsoft environment (Teams, Tasks by planner, Forms, Power apps, Mural...), MS office (excel, power point - master level), Power BI reports and general database organization is required.

  • Programming in Appian will be equally valued.

  1. Experience required:
  • 1-3 years of ERP and systems consulting experience.

  • OEM operations experience will be highly valued, in areas such as purchasing and logistics, manufacturing, quality, inventory management or finance.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles and self-starter mentality to apply, promote and implement JIT and KAIZEN projects in the work centers and communication of best practices to the regional Organization.

  1. Managerial, people management and other skills:
  • Strong commitment, ambition and patience to develop employees and colleagues towards new operational capabilities with the ultimate goal of increasing knowledge, effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with Regional Organizations.

  • Experience in presenting and communicating at different levels of the organization is required. Must be able to create a good teamwork environment and be able to explain the needs and progress of projects owned.

  • Willingness and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
