Responsibilities:
o Reading & understand technical documents, drawings, and various configurations and metallurgy.
o Generate high quality, on time, value priced proposals to facilitate order fulfilment.
o Good understanding of mechanical seal types, parts, arrangements,
o Determination of materials costs to manufacture equipment in coordination with manufacturing, , finance, quality, logistic, purchasing and supplier’s development departments.
o Estimate equipment´s cost based on standard rates and according to the customer´s specifications.
o Understanding of pricing, commercial and INCO terms
o Look for a continuous improvement regarding the estimating process; pricing time, quality, material cost reduction
o Advise to Commercial Operations and/or Sales Offices pricing and lead time of component / new equipment.
o Other duties as assigned.
Preferred knowledge / Skills:
o Industry experience related to pumps/seals / rotating equipment.
o Experience in pricing tools such as ERP / Oracle / SAP / Sales Force
o Experience in pricing, contract review and ERP administration.
o Knowledge in understanding engineering / manufacturing drawings and BoM
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
Qualification:
o Any bachelor’s degree / Diploma in engineering
