Role Summary:

As a Collections Analyst, you manage a complex collection portfolio by monitoring and collecting open invoices on customer accounts by building and being an excellent partner to our internal and external business partners.

You are interacting with our customers in the Netherlands, primarily by phone, and having transparent, friendly and professional conversations regarding unpaid bills.  

This role is a great opportunity for you to use and improve your Dutch language skills in a professional setting.

Responsibilities & Requirements: You'll be involved in the following tasks:

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.

  • Manage a collection portfolio by monitoring and collecting open invoices

  • Independently handle complex cases

  • Interact with customers primarily by telephone

  • Maintain transparent, accurate and standard collections notes

  • Identify and open dispute case and push for resolution

  • Pro-actively and timely escalation of collection in accordance with department guidelines

  • Frequently review sales orders on hold

  • Maintain documentation as per internal controls & SOX audit requirements

  • Support the organization with timely month-end closing

What do you need for this job:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch

  • Ability to build effective relationships with customers via phone

  • Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

  • Relevant Shared Services, Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable or Credit Management experience

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree is an advantage

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Oracle products is a plus)
