As Accounts Receivable Manager, your task is to manage up to 8 supervisors and around 100 AR Cash collections and Cash application associates supporting the EMA and NA regions. You drive standard collections procedures and cash application processes within the team in Debrecen and Budapest. Your main location will be Budapest, with 30% travel to Debrecen.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
You'll be involved in the following tasks:
Develop key metrics and scorecards to measure and drive success of the whole function, also deliver KPI targets set for each team.
Contribute as a key leader for the Shared Services organization.
Attract and develop a team to manage the transition phase and then mature into a high-performance team over time.
Develop a department environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent.
Partner with HR and the transition team to ensure quality and timely on-boarding and transition of work from US and EU sites into the Shared Service center.
Build a culture of operational excellence, customer service and continuous improvement.
Responsible for development and administration of annual budgets for the department.
Develop, implement and maintain effective internal controls for the centers operations.
Ensure the company operates in a manner consistent with company policies/philosophy, ethics and legal requirements.
What do you need for this job:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree a plus, Finance Degree or Business Degree preferred
10+ years’ AR / Treasury /Order-To-Cash experience is preferred, (5+ years in a Shared Service AR Manager role)
Experience in role transitions or significant growth of a service center
Strong technical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and familiarity with S4SAP Business Objects platforms; comfortable working in multiple ERP systems
Demonstrated ability to motivate, engage and develop people.
Ability to cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English.
