Role Summary:

The Production Foreman directs and participates in activities within the operations team as it relates to production, inventory management, and quality. These highly motivated individuals ensure efficient production while promoting and working safely within established policies and procedures.

This Foreman position will be a working role, working to repair products and managing a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Production planning in different work centers (machining, welding, assembly, mechanics/millwrights)

  • Management of KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework)

  • Able to assist Customers with troubleshooting and technical questions

  • Hands-on work to repair, weld, assemble, and machine products (at least 50% of the workday)

  • Approximately 25% of Administrative Duties managing budgets and scheduling allocation

  • Approximately 25% of Performance evaluations, training and development

  • Lead and hold accountable a small team composed of welders, machinists, and mechanics

  • Knowledge of Excel, Internet Applications, and Basis Computer Skills

  • Oversee all aspects of operations including but not limited to, shipping/receiving, inspection, quality documentation, and customer communication

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with rotating equipment (pumps, valves, etc)

  • Ability to lead and direct others

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Experience with ISO-9000-14000

  • Desirable knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME)

  • Knowledge of machining and welding

The pay range for this position is 38.44 - 57.69 USD Hourly
