DGS Engineer based in Algeria, reports to (QRC Manager)/ Manager-Gas Seal Tester Cell.
DGS Engineer, he will be responsible for inspection reports, Test Reports, Technical Reports for Dry Gas Seal.
Plan tester workload, order tester adaptive hardware and Spare parts to Manufacturing hub.
Communicate with engineering and manufacturing hub for technical and manufacturing support.
Ensure smooth operation of DGS tester Cell. Provide technical support to Sales Team & Customer
Build the organization structure for the repair and testing cell. Develop and Train technicians to efficient running of Gaspac Tester Cell.
Preferred Experience / Skills: Competencies:
To be successful in the role, the employee should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
Knowledge about Compressor and Compressor Dry gas Seals.
Good understanding of construction and operation of Compressor, Compressor Dry gas Seals and its control system.
Prior experience in Repair and testing of Compressor Dry Gas Seal, installation, and commissioning of Dry Gas Seals on centrifugal compressors.
Skills / Abilities
Ability to work in a matrix organisation with multicultural background.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team person skills.

Education and Experience: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized technical institute or equivalent with minimum 3–5-year experience in relevant field.
Communication: Should read, write and speak english, and interpersonal skills.
Certificates/Licenses: Degree/Diploma Certificate from recognized institute in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Responsibilities & Requirements: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspection, repair and testing of All type of Compressor Dry gas Seals.
Responsible for Maintaining Cycle time and OTD for repair seals.
Responsibilities for maintaining safe workplace and comply with Flowserve applicable safety, Health and Environment standards, Policy, rules, and procedures.
Report safety incidents, unsafe working conditions and/or potential hazards.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow all safety requirements.
Participate and contribute to process improvements activities within the facility.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
