Role Summary:

Flowserve is looking for an Application Engineer for its commercial office in Algeria for spare parts, accessories, and valves to join the Commercial Operations department.

The mission can be extended to requests for replacement valves.

The position covers a perimeter of Algeria but also international scope with clients based in Europe/Africa and the rest of the world.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Accurately identify the customer's request and expectations and the various actors involved in the decision to design the most relevant technical offer

  • Check and validate the technical feasibility of the commercial response

  • Identify the necessary spare parts and accessories according to the materials, needs and requests of the customer

  • Define the materials in the context of new replacement valves

  • Initiate consultations with suppliers, then analyze and preselect the files to develop a relevant price offer in relation to the customer's needs.

  • Guarantee the conformity of the proposal with the technical and commercial characteristics of the project

  • Present and argue the commercial offer.

  • Recommend customer and support them in their decision-making by the relevance of technical and financial arguments

This position will allow the candidate to develop his/her commercial potential and his/her technical qualities and may allow him/her to evolve towards Sales functions or discover a range of different technical products or a possible evolution towards pumps.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Preference is for the candidate to have an engineering degree in a technical sector (automation, mechanics ...), you have experience of at least 3 years in a similar function, inside sales; in interface with customers or in a design office in an industrial and mechanical sector.

The practice of English is essential, another language would be a plus.

Basic technical knowledge of valve materials.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and the Office Pack in general essential.

Time management skills, ability to handle high workload activities.

High communication, sociable.

International environment, self-driven and ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
