Role Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a Buyer to help achieve our team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of subcontracted components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines, in accordance with recommendations of global Supply Chain Team. In this role you will develop and implement purchasing strategies by supporting the Commercial Operations team regarding advance procurement activities, developing our strategy in the engineered markets, with the goal of increasing our profitability and our on-time delivery. You will work on strengthening the alignment of the Company's Purchasing strategy and business strategy. Having the full ownership of the suppliers portfolio, you will work in close relationship with supply team to improve our delivery.

Your Role:

  • Keep our PO progress upto date daily basis in Sap while coordinating with Buyers and suppliers.

  • Sending pending PR reports and PO progress reports on daily basis to all CFT

  • Supporting buyers for any supplier addition in MDG based on request.

  • Close follow-up with buyers to get the weekly updates from supplier for all open PO’s

  • Preparing report – OTD, Saving, delay PR’s, Overdue PO, Overdue payments as per supplier payment term

Your Profile:

  • good experience in SAP

  • basics knowledge of Pump and functions.

  • basic knowledge of Major categories like: Casting, Forging, Machining, Fasteners, Gaskets, motors,

  • Competency in Excel, word, Power Point

  • data analytical skills and reporting.

  • good team player.

  • Self-starter and willing to learn.

  • 2 years of hands-on experience as Buyer.

  • Supply Chain and procurement background for direct materials categories
