Key Task Responsibilities

  • Assemble valves / actuators based on Standard Operating Procedure or routine assembly and dismantling practices.

  • Requires the ability use of hand tools which may include various wrenches (manual, electric or air), torque wrenches, hoists, scissor tables and valve / actuator testing equipment to insure product meets quality requirements

  • Performs equipment change-overs if required to assemble or dismantle valves / actuators for testing.

  • Responsible for valve quality making adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.

  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and obey all safety requirements

  • Verify & Ensure the heat codes are matching with the kitted parts in assembly,

  • Sign the assembly traveler after completing each step,

  • Ensure the accessories and tubing’s as per the specification and drawing,

  • Communicate to the supervisor for any deviation,

  • Preserve the valve/Actuator by dry the body and protect the flange face,

  • Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line or to move product to designated areas.

  • Complete daily production and valve specifications logs as required by supervisor.

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery.

  • Communicate with operators from other shifts.

  • Clean and maintain work area.

  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

  • Participate and contribute to process improvements activities within the facility Assist machinists in repair work.

  • Other job that may be assigned to him/her.

  • Perform the job safely, p erform high level of housekeeping, perform risk assessment, comply to SHEA policy and report policy violation and hazards .

Qualification Requirement:

EDUATION:

  • High school graduate / ITI certificate

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • With at least 5 years’ experience in CONTROL VALVE manufacturing /service industry.

OTHERS:

  • Manual dexterity requires to operate machineries.

  • With good physical condition, able to lift 30 lbs of weight.

  • Ability to read the Data sheets and instructions,

  • Ability to understand the tubing diagram and operation,

  • Ability to follow the work instructions.

TRAINING AND CONTINOUS EDUCATION NEEDED:

  • Regular updates on Safety Awareness Training

  • Machineries Training.

  • Quality Control tools such as graphs, check sheet, Pareto diagram, control chart, others.

  • Quality improvement tools such as root cause analysis, corrective action planning and CIP.

  • Update on Flowserve standards.

  • Product training
